 nVIDIA RIVA128zx 8MB NV3T for Windows 95/98 Ver.4.10.01.7195 Preparation for downloading, extracting, and installing the driver: Creating your own folder on your desktop: 1. Right click on the Windows desktop screen. 2. When a small menu pops up, select [New] and click [Folder]. 3. Once the New Folder has created on the desktop screen, rename the folder for your convenience. How to rename the folder: 1. Right click on the newly created folder. 2. When a small menu pops up, select and click [Rename]. 3. Type whatever you would like. For example, if you would like to download a sound driver for your computer, make the name [NewSound] and press [Enter]. How to download and extract: 1. Click FTP button on our WEB site, and download the file to the newly created folder to download. 2. Double-click the folder you created. 3. Double-click the file you have downloaded it named as [00000***.exe]. How to install the driver in Windows 95 : 1. Start up the system. Click [Start], [Settings], then [Control Panel]. 2. Double-click the Display icon. The Display Properties window appears. 3. Click [Settings] tab to bring that page to the front. 4. Click [Advanced Properties]. The Advanced Display Properties window appears. 5. Click [Change]. The Select Device window appears. 6. Click [Have Disk]. The Install from Disk window appears. 7. Click [Browse]. Select the folder you have extracted, then press [Enter]. Press [Enter], The Change Display window appears. 8. Make sure that [STB Velocity 128] is highlighted, then click [OK]. The files copy, then the Advanced Display Properties window appears with STB Velocity 128 listed as the Adapter. 9. Click [Apply], then [OK]. The Display Properties window appears. 10. Click [Apply], then [OK]. The System Settings Change window appears prompting you to restart the computer. 11. Click [Yes]. The installation is completed. How to install the driver in Windows 98 : 1. Start up the system. Click [Start], [Settings], then [Control Panel]. 2. Double-click the Display icon. The Display Properties window appears. 3. Click [Settings] tab to bring that page to the front. 4. Click [Advanced Properties]. The Advanced Display Properties window appears. 5. Click [Adapter] tab to bring that page to the front. 6. Click [Change]. The Update Device Driver Wizard window appears. 7. Click [Next]. Select [Display a list of the drivers in a specific location, so you can select the driver you want], click [Next]. 8. Click [Have Disk]. The Install from Disk window appears. 9. Click [Browse]. Select the folder you have extracted, then press [Enter]. The Select Device window appears. 10. Make sure that [STB Velocity 128] is highlighted, then click [OK]. The files copy, then the Update Device Driver Wizard window appears with STB Velocity 128 listed as the Adapter. 11. Click [Finish]. The System Settings Change window appears prompting you to restart the computer. 12. Click [Yes]. The installation is completed.
