 Neo Magic NMG2 Sound for Windows 95/98 Ver.4.05.4148.010Q Download a file to a directory which you make on your hard drive. Double click the file to extract the files contained in the archive. To install the software Windows 95: 1.Click the Start button, then Control Panel. The Control Panel open. 2.Double-click the System icon. The System Properties dialog box opens. 3.Click the Device Manager tab. 4.Click the +next to Other Devices. 5.Click ?PCI Multimedia Audio Device, then click Remove. 6.Click OK to confirm that you want to remove the unknown device. 7.Click the +next to Other Device again. 8.Click ?Unknown Device, then click Remove. 9.Click OK to confirm that you want to remove the unknown device. 10.Click Refresh. The Update Device Driver Wizard opens. 11.Click Next.Click Browse. Select the folder you extracted, then press Enter. 12.Windows finds the driver. Click Finish. The driver files are copied to hard disk drive. 13.When prompted, Click OK. The driver files continue copying. 14.Click Finish to complete the installation. 15.The Update Device Driver Wizard opens again. Repeat Steps 9-13 for the second unknown device. 16.Click Start, then Shut Down. The Shut Down dialog box opens. 17.Select Restart the computer?, then click Yes. 18.The system restarts. 19.Click Start, Settings, then Control Panel. The Control Panel opens. 20.Double-click the magicWave 3DX Config icon. The NeoMagic MagicWave 3DX Config dialog box appears. 21.In the Quality section, select Excellent. 22.In the Tone Configuration section, adjust both bars to the third line form the top for best results. 23.In the 3D Enhanced section, click NotePC 1. 24.Click OK. To install the software Windows 98: 1.Click the Start button, then Control Panel. The Control Panel open. 2.Double-click the System icon. The System Properties dialog box opens. 3.Click the Device Manager tab. 4.Click the +next to Other Devices. 5.Select ?PCI Multimedia Audio Device, then click Remove. 6.Click OK to confirm that you want to remove the unknown device. 7.Select ?Unknown Device, then click Remove. 8.Click OK to confirm that you want to remove the unknown device. 9.Click Refresh. The Add New Hardware Wizard opens. 10.Click Next. 11.In the next window, the Search fir the best driver for your device. (Recommended) option is selected. Click Next. 12.Click Browse. Select the folder you extracted, then press Enter. then click Next. 13.Windows finds the driver. Click Next. The driver files are copied to the hard disk drive. 14.When prompted, Click Browse. Select the folder you extracted, then press Enter. Click OK. The driver files continue copying. 15.Click Finish to complete the installation. 16.The Add Hardware Wizard opens again. Repeat Steps 8-13 for the second unknown device. 17.Click the Start button, then Settings, then Control Panel. The Control Panel opens. 18.Double-click the magicWave 3DX Config icon. The NeoMagic MagicWave 3DX Config dialog box appears. 19.In the Quality section, select Excellent. 20.In the Tone Configuration section, adjust both bars to the third line form the top for best results. 21.In the 3D Enhanced section, click NotePC 1. 22.Click OK.
