 ATI Rage 128VR AGP For Windows NT 4.0 Ver4.3.52 Preparation for downloading, extracting, and installing the driver: Creating your own folder on your desktop: 1. Right click on the Windows desktop screen. 2. When a small menu pops up, select [New] and click [Folder]. 3. Once the New Folder has created on the desktop screen, rename the folder for your convenience. How to rename the folder: 1. Right click on the newly created folder. 2. When a small menu pops up, select and click [Rename]. 3. Type whatever you would like. For example, if you would like to download a sound driver for your computer, make the name [NewSound] and press [Enter]. How to download and extract: 1. Click FTP button on our WEB site, and download the file to the newly created folder to download. 2. Double-click the folder you created. 3. Double-click the file you have downloaded it named as [00000***.exe]. How to install the driver in Windows NT 4.0 1. Log in with Administrative rights. 2. Click [Start], [Settings], and [Control Panel]. 3. In [Control Panel], double-click the Display icon. 4. In the [Display Properties] dialog box, click the [Settings] tab. 5. On the [Settings] tab, click [Display Type]. 6. In the [Display Type] dialog box, in the [Adapter Type] box, click [Change]. 7. In the [Change Display] dialog box, click [Have Disk]. 8. In the [Install From Disk] dialog box, click [Browse] to select the folder you have extracted the driver files. 9. In the [Install From Disk] dialog box, click [OK]. 10. In the [Change Display] dialog box, from the Display list, select [ATI Technologies Inc. Rage 128 VR (English)], and then click [OK]. 11. In the Third-party Drivers dialog box, click [Yes]. 12. The files are copied. 13. In the [Installing Driver] dialog box, click [OK]. 14. In the [Display Type] dialog box, click [Cancel]. 15. In the [Display Properties] dialog box, click [Close]. 16. In the [System Settings Change] dialog box, click [Yes] to restart the computer. 17. After the computer restarts and you have logged on, the [Invalid Display Settings] dialog box appears. Click [OK] to continue. 18. Select the preferred color and desktop settings. After the settings have been selected, click [Test]. The screen momentarily blanks out and then displays the test screen. The test screen remains for a brief moment. The normal desktop screen appears. A dialog box appears asking whether the bitmap was seen correctly. If it is seen correctly, click [Yes]. 19. Close the [Display Properties] dialog box. 20. The installation of the drivers is completed.
