How can I input or output video screens by using the Composite Video ports on SOLO 9300?

 SOLO 9300 (BIOS Bersion 16.0x)
Windows 98

To Input video screens
  1. Connect one end of a standard video cable to the Composite Video In port on SOLO 9300.

  2. Connect the other end of the cable to the Video Out connector on your peripheral devices such as a video camera, a television, or VCR.

  3. Turn on your SOLO 9300.

  4. On your Windows desktop screen, locate and click on [Start] button, then point to [Programs], [ATI Multimedia], and click on [Television].



  5. When ATI Television window appears but if there is not video screens form the peripheral device on the screen of SOLO 9300, locate a mouse pointer on the screen of ATI Television window and click on the screen by using a right click button of your mouse. This operation of the mouse is also called "Right Click" as a common computer terminology.



  6. Once a menu dialog box appears, select [Setup].



  7. In [TV Player Setup] window, click on [Video] tab. To display the picture from the peripheral device on your computer screen by using the Composite Video In, [Composite] in [Connector] area and [NTCS] in [Standard] area must be selected. Once you verify the setting, click [OK] to close this window.





To Output video screens
  1. Connect one end of a standard video cable to the Composite Video Out port on SOLO 9300.

  2. Connect the other end of the cable to the Video In connector on your peripheral devices such as a television.

  3. Turn on your SOLO 9300.

  4. To display a video screen of SOLO 9300 on a screen of your peripheral device, press [Fn] key and [F3] key on your keyboard at the same time.

    The following chart explains a sequence of switching display with [Fn] key and [F3] key. It depends on how many times you press [Fn] key and [F3] key will switch the display.

    The next following picture shows how the peripheral device is recognized by SOLO 9300.


    • Locate and click on [Start], [Settings] and [Control Panel].
    • Double-click on [Display] icon.
    • In [Display Properties] window, click on [Settings] tab, [Advanced] button, and [Display] tab.
    • For example, if the peripheral device is not recognized by SOLO 9300, the TV section is grayed out.
