This issue is for
| | All the monitor with aperture grile pitch.
|
|
The very faint thin lines across the screen are normal.
They are caused by the aperture grill stabilization filaments (Damper Wires) which are required for all aperture grills CRT's.
The aperture grile pitch monitor uses a thin damper wire to stavilize the internal aperture grille. These wires are most obious when the monitor displays a white background. The aperture grille allows more light to pass through the screen for brighter colors and greater luminescence.
The Damper wire is a critical part of the overall monitor design and does not negatively an affect the monitor's function.
