Unable to install a new font in Windows Me

The [Install New Font] option, located in the [File] menu of the [Fonts] folder, is missing.

This issue is for

All system
Desktop
Windows Millennium Edition

On your screen. Locate and click the [Start] button.
From the [Start] menue, click [Run].
In the [Run] dialog box, in the "Open" field, type as below and then click [OK].

Attrib +S C:\Windows\Fonts
Restart your computer and then the [Fonts] folder now appears normally.
