Update: 2000/11/07 My CD-ROM will not work if I choose "Restart in MS-DOS mode". This issue is for   All system Windows uses its own drivers to make the CD-ROM work, so if you restart your computer in MS-DOS mode, there won't be any real mode CD-ROM drivers loaded. This means that you can't use the CD-ROM in MS-DOS mode.
