To install the driver
Preparing for Installation
  System Restoration CD 3.1 or 3.2
The User's guide that came with your system

  1. Start up the system.

  2. Log in with Administrative rights.

  3. Insert the System CD in the CD/DVD-ROM drive.

    If the [Gateway System Restoration CD] window appears, click [x] button to close that window.

  4. Click [Start], [Settings], then [Control Panel].

  5. Double-click [Display].  The [Display Properties] appears.

  6. Click the [Settings] tab to bring that page to the front.

  7. Click [Advanced Properties].  The [Advanced Display Properties] appears.

  8. Click the [Adapter] tab to bring that page to the front.

  9. Click [Change].  The [Update Device Driver Wizard] appears.

  10. Click [Next].

  11. Check [Display a list of the drivers in a specific location, so you can select the driver you want].  Click [Next].

  12. Click [Have Disk].  The [Install from Disk] appears.

  13. In the [Copy manufacturer's files from] text box, type as below, then click [OK].  The [Change Display] appears.

    [D:] represents a letter of CD/DVD-ROM drive and vary in each system. If you do not know a letter of your CD/DVD-ROM drive, double click [My Computer]. At the bottom of CD/DVD-ROM icon, there's a name of CD/DVD-ROM drive like (D:),(E:),(R:), and so on.

  14. Make sure that [STB Velocity 128] is highlighted, then click [OK].  The files copy, then [Update Device Driver Wizard] appears with STB Velocity 128 listed as the Adapter.

  15. Click [Finish].  The [System Settings Change] appears prompting you to restart the computer.

  16. Eject the System CD, click [Yes].  The installation is completed.
