If You have the have System CD 6.1D or later version of Desktop System CD, click here for another procedure.

System CD 6.1D or later version

CAUTION

NT Service Pack 4 must be installed prior to installing this drivers.

Start up the system.
Insert the System CD in the CD/DVD-ROM drive.

If the [Gateway System Restoration CD] window appears, click [x] button to close that window.
Click [Start], [Settings], then [Control Panel].
Double-click [Display]. The [Display Properties] appears.
Click the [Settings] tab to bring that page to the front.
Click [Advanced Properties]. The [Advanced Display Properties] appears.
Click the [Adapter] tab to bring that page to the front.
Click [Change]. The [Update Device Driver Wizard] appears.
Click [Next].
Check [Display a list of the drivers in a specific location, so you can select the driver you want], click [Next].
Click [Have Disk]. The [Install from Disk] appears.

In the [Copy manufacturer's files from] text box, type as below, then click [OK]. The [Change Display] appears.

D:\Win95-98\Display\nVIDIA4

note

[D:] represents a letter of CD/DVD-ROM drive and vary in each system. If you do not know a letter of your CD/DVD-ROM drive, double click [My Computer]. At the bottom of CD/DVD-ROM icon, there's a name of CD/DVD-ROM drive like (D:),(E:),(R:), and so on.

Make sure that [STB nVIDIA RIVA TNT2] is highlighted, then click [OK]. The files copy, then [Update Device Driver Wizard] appears with STB nVIDIA RIVA TNT2 listed as the Adapter.
Click [Finish]. The [System Settings Change] appears prompting you to restart the computer.
Eject the System CD, click [Yes]. The installation is completed.
