- Start up your computer.
- Insert the System CD in the CD/DVD-ROM drive.

 | | If the [Gateway System Restoration CD] window or [Configuration tool] window appears, click [x] button to close that window. |
- Click [Start], and [Run].
- In the [Open] text box, type as below, then click [OK]. The [Welcom] window appears.

| | [D:] represents a letter of CD/DVD-ROM drive and vary in each system. If you don't know a letter of your CD/DVD-ROM drive, click the [My Computer] icon. At the bottom of CD/DVD-ROM icon, there's a name of CD/DVD-ROM drive like (D:),(E:),(R:), and so on. |
- Click [Next]. The [Choose Destination Location] window appears.
- Click [Next]. The [Start Copying Files] window appears.
- Click [Next]. After copying files, the [Setup complete] window appears.
- Click [Yes, I want to restart my computer now.], and [Finish] to restart your computer.
- When the computer restarts, the [Information about your TouchPad] window appears.
- If you don't want to [Show this message the next time Windows starts], click the check box to put off a check from it. Then, click [Close]. This complete the driver installation.
