To install the driver
Preparing for Installation
  Desktop System CD 6.6D or later version of System CD
The User's guide that came with your system

    If you have Desktop System CD 6.5D or former version of System CD, click here for another procedure.
    System CD 6.5D or former version

  1. Start up your computer.

  2. Click [Start], [Settings], and [Control Panel].

  3. In the [Control Panel] window, double-click the [System] icon.  The [System Properties] window appears.

  4. Click the [Device Manager] tab.  Then click [PCI Communication Device] under [Other devices], and the [Properties] button.  The Properties window appears.

    If you can't find [PCI Communication Device], click the [+] sign next to [Other devices].

  5. Click [Driver] tab, and [Update Driver].  The [Update Device Driver Wizard] window appears.

  6. Click [Next].  A window asking [What do you want Windows to do?] appears.

  7. Click [Search for a better driver than the one...] to put a check on it, and [Next].  A window asking you to select the location where the driver is appears.

  8. Insert the System CD in the CD/DVD-ROM drive.

    If the [Desktop System CD] window appears, click [x] button to close that window.

  9. Click the [Specify a location] check box to put a check on it, and type as below.  Then, click [Next].  A message [Windows driver file search for the device.] appears.

    [D:] represents a letter of CD/DVD-ROM drive and vary in each system. If you don't know a letter of your CD/DVD-ROM drive, click the [My Computer] icon. At the bottom of CD/DVD-ROM icon, there's a name of CD/DVD-ROM drive like (D:),(E:),(R:), and so on.

  10. Click [Next].  A message [Windows has finished installing an updated driver for your hardware device.] appears.

  11. Click [Finish].  The [LT PCI Modem Properties] window appears.

  12. Click [Close].  The [System Properties] window appears.

  13. Click [OK].

  14. Click [Start], and [Shut Down].  Then click [Restart], and [OK] to restart your computer.  This completes the driver installation.

Please see User's guide for your additional references. This Installation Guide is made for the initial hardware configuration systems we ship. some processes would be changed depending on your hardware configuration.
