To install the driver
Preparing for Installation
  Desktop System CD 6.6D or later version

    If you have Desktop System CD 6.3D - 6.5D, click here for another procedure.
    System CD 6.1D or later version

  1. Start up your computer.

  2. Click [Start], [Settings], and [Control Panel].  The [Control Panel] appears.

  3. Double-click [Display].  [Display Properties] appears.

  4. Click the [Settings] tab, and click [Advanced].  [Properties] appears.

  5. Click [Adapter] tab, and [Change].  [Update Device Driver Wizard] appears

  6. Click [Next].  A window asking [What do you want Windows to do?] appears.

  7. Click [Display a list of all the drivers in a...] to put a check on it.  A window asking you to select the model appears.

  8. Click [Have Disk].

  9. Insert the System CD in the CD/DVD-ROM drive.  [Install From Disk] appears.

    If [Desktop System CD] window appears, click [x] button to close that window.

  10. In [Copy manufacturer's files from:], type as below, then click [Enter] key.  [Select Device] appears.

    [D:] represents a letter of CD/DVD-ROM drive and vary in each system. If you don't know a letter of your CD/DVD-ROM drive, double-click [My Computer]. At the bottom of CD/DVD-ROM icon, there's a name of CD/DVD-ROM drive like (D:),(E:),(R:), and so on.

  11. Click [NVIDIA GeForce 256(Gatway - English)] and make sure that the line is highlighted. Then click [OK].  [Update Device Driver Wizard] appears with [NVIDIA RIVA TNT2 (Gatway - English)] listed.

  12. Click [Next].  After copying files, a message [Windows has finished installing the driver..] appears.

  13. Click [Finish].  [Standard PCI Graphics Adapter (VGA) Properties] appears.

  14. Click [Close].  [Display Properties] appears.

  15. Click [Close].  [System Settings Change] appears.

  16. Eject the System CD and click [Yes] to restart your computer.  This completes the driver installation.
