If you have Desktop System CD 6.3D - 6.5D, click here for another procedure.

System CD 6.1D or later version

CAUTION

NT Service Pack 4 or above must be installed prior to installing this drivers.

Start up your computer.
Log in with Administrative rights.
Click [Start], [Setting] and [Control Panel]. The [Control Panel] appears.
Double-click [Display]. [Display Properties] appears.
Click the [Settings] tab, and [Display Type]. [Display Type] appears.
Click [Change]. [Change Display] appears.
Click [Have Disk].
Insert the System CD in the CD/DVD-ROM drive. [Install From Disk] appears.

If [Desktop System CD] appears, click [x] button to close that window.

Type as below in the [Copy manufacturer's files from:] text box, and click [OK]. [Change Display] appears.

D:\WinNT40\Display\RivaTNT

note

[D:] represents a letter of CD/DVD-ROM drive and vary in each system. If you don't know a letter of your CD/DVD-ROM drive, click [My Computer]. At the bottom of CD/DVD-ROM icon, there's a name of CD/DVD-ROM drive like (D:),(E:),(R:), and so on.

Click [NVIDIA RIVA TNT2/TNT2 Pro] (Gateway)] from the list and make sure that line is highlighted. Click [OK]. [Third-party Drivers] apprears.
Click [Yes]. If [Insert Disk] appears.
Click [OK].
If [Files Needed] appears, make sure that D:\winnt40\display\RivaTNT] displayed in [Copy files form:] text box, then click [OK]. A message [The drivers were successfully installed.] appears.

Click [OK]. [Display Type] appears.
Click [Close]. [Display Properties] appears.
