To install the driver
Preparing for Installation
  System CD 6.1D or later version of Desktop System CD
The User's guide that came with your computer

    CAUTION
    CAUTION
    NT Service Pack 4 or above must be installed prior to installing this drivers.

  1. Start up your computer.

  2. Log in with Administrative rights.

  3. Click [Start], [Setting] and [Control Panel].  The [Control Panel] appears.

  4. Double-click [Display].  The [Display Properties] appears.

  5. Click the [Settings] tab, and click [Display Type].  The [Display Type] appears.

  6. In the [Adapter Type] box, click [Change].  The [Change Display] appears.

  7. Click [Have Disk].  The [Install From Disk] appears.

  8. Insert the System CD in the CD/DVD-ROM drive.

    If [Configuration tool] or [Desktop System CD] window appears, click [x] button to close that window.

  9. Type as below in the [Copy manufacturer's files from:] text box, and click [OK].

    [D:] represents a letter of CD/DVD-ROM drive and vary in each system. If you don't know a letter of your CD/DVD-ROM drive, click the [My Computer] icon. At the bottom of CD/DVD-ROM icon, there's a name of CD/DVD-ROM drive like (D:),(E:),(R:), and so on.

  10. Select [ATI Technologies Inc. Rage 128 VR (English)], and click [OK].  The [Third-party Drivers dialog] appears.

  11. Click [Yes].  The files are copied, and [Installing Driver] appears.

  12. Click [OK].  The [Display Type] appears.

  13. Click [Cancel].  The [Display Properties] appears.

  14. Click [Close].  The [System Settings Change] appears.

  15. Eject the System CD, and click [Yes] to restart the computer.  After the computer restarts and you have logged on, [Invalid Display Settings] appears.

  16. Click [OK] to continue.

  17. Select the preferred color and desktop settings.  After the settings have been selected, click [Test].  The screen momentarily blanks out and then displays the test screen.  The test screen remains for a brief moment.

  18. The normal desktop screen appears.  A dialog box appears asking whether the bitmap was seen correctly.

  19. If it is seen correctly, click [Yes].  This complete the driver installation.

Please see User's guide for your additional references. This Installation Guide is made for the initial hardware configuration systems we ship. some processes would be changed depending on your hardware configuration.
