SOLO 9300 Video driver installation ATI Rage Mobility-P

To install the driver
Preparing for Installation
  Solo System CD 6.6P or later version
The User's guide that came with your system

  1. Start up your computer.

  2. Insert the System CD in the CD/DVD-ROM drive.

    If the [Gateway System Restoration CD] window or [Configuration tool] window appears, click [x] button to close that window.

  3. Click [Start], and [Run].

  4. In the [Open] text box, type as below, then click [OK].  The [Welcom] window appears.

    [D:] represents a letter of CD/DVD-ROM drive and vary in each system. If you don't know a letter of your CD/DVD-ROM drive, click the [My Computer] icon. At the bottom of CD/DVD-ROM icon, there's a name of CD/DVD-ROM drive like (D:),(E:),(R:), and so on.

  5. Click [Next].  The [Software License Agreement] window appears.

  6. Read the license agreement and click [Yes].  After copying files, the [Setup Complete] window appears.

  7. Click [Yes, I want to restart my computer now.], and [Finish] to restart your computer.

  8. When [Ativmdxx.sys] is not found after [New Hardware Found] window appears.

  9. In the [Copy manufacturer's files from] text box, type as below, then click [OK].  The [Desk Top Help] window appears.

  10. Click [x] button to close the window.

  11. Click [Start], [Settings], and [Control Panel].

  12. In the [Control Panel] window, double-click the [Display] icon.  The [Display Properties] window appears.

  13. Click the [Settings] tab, and [Advanced].  The [ATI MOBILITY-P AGP(English) Properties] window appears.

  14. Click the [Monitor] tab, and [Change].  The [Select Device] window appears.

  15. In the [Manufacturers] list box, click (Standard monitor types), and [Laptop Display Panel(1024*768)] in the [Models] list box.  Then click [OK].

  16. The [ATI MOBILITY-P AGP(English) Properties] window appears again with the model [Laptop Display Panel(1024*768)] listed.

  17. Click [Close].  The [Display Properties] window appears.

  18. Adjust the settings of [Colors] and [Screen area] as you like.  Then click [OK].

  19. This complete the driver installation.

Please see User's guide for your additional references. This Installation Guide is made for the initial hardware configuration systems we ship. some processes would be changed depending on your hardware configuration.
