 Procedure with pictures
- Start the Windows.
- Insert the System CD into your either CD/DVD-ROM drive.

 | | If [Portable System CD] window pops up on your Windows desktop screen, close the window by clicking [x] mark where is located at the top of the right-hand side corner of the window. |
- On your screen, locate and click on [Start] button. From the Start menu, click on [Run].
- In "Open" text box, type as below, then click on [OK].

 | | (D:) represents a letter of CD/DVD-ROM drive and vary in each system. If you do not know a letter of your CD/DVD-ROM drive, double click on [My Computer] icon. At the bottom of CD/DVD-ROM icon, there is a drive letter of CD/DVD-ROM drive like a (D:),(E:),(R:) and so on. |
- When the [Gateway Multi-function Keyboard] window appears, select "USA" and click on [Launch].
- When the [InstallShield Self-extracting EXE] window appears, click on [Yes].
- When the [Welcome] window appears, click on [Next].
- When the [Readme Information] window appears, read through the Information and click on [Next].
- When the [Setup Complete] window appears, select "Yes, I want to restart my computer now" and click on [Finish] to restart your computer.
- Once Windows is restarted, locate and click on [Start] button on your screen. From the Start menu, select [Settings] then click on [Control Panel].
- In the [Control Panel], double click on [Multi-function Keyboard].
- When the [Gateway Multi-function Keyboard Utility] window appears, click on [Help] tab.
- On the [Help] window, type as below in the text box under "If an application is not listed above, click Browse to locate it", instead of "C:\Windows\Help\qa_solo.chm", then click on [OK].
C:\Windows\Help\Windows.chm - When the [Help] window appears asking "Are you sure you would like to change your Help button to C:\Windows\Help\windows.chm?" appears, click on [Yes] and this completes the driver installaion.
