To install the driver
Preparing for Installation
  Solo Restoration CD 2.2J, 2.3J or 3.0D

  1. Start the Windows.

  2. Insert the Solo System CD into your either CD/DVD-ROM drive.

    If [System Restoration CD] window pops up on your Windows desktop screen, close the window by clicking [x] mark where is located at the top of the right-hand side corner of the window.

  3. On your screen, locate and click the [Start] button.   From the Start menu, point to [Settings], then click [Control Panel], then double-click [System].

  4. On the [System Properties], click on the [Device Manager].   Under "Other Devices", remove both "Unknown Devices".

  5. Click [Refresh].

  6. The [Update Device Driver Wizard] appears.   Click [Next].

  7. Click [Other Locations...].

  8. At the [Select Other Location], type as below in "Location" text box.   Then click [OK].

    (D:) represents a letter of CD/DVD-ROM drive and vary in each system. If you do not know a letter of your CD/DVD-ROM drive, double click on [My Computer] icon. At the bottom of CD/DVD-ROM icon, there is a drive letter of CD/DVD-ROM drive like a (D:),(E:),(R:) and so on.

  9. The "NeoMagic MagicWave 3DX Sound System" is found, click [Finish].

  10. The [Inser Disk] window appears, click [OK].

  11. The [Copying Files...] window appears, type as below in "Copy files from:" text box and then click [OK].

    (D:) represents a letter of CD/DVD-ROM drive and vary in each system. If you do not know a letter of your CD/DVD-ROM drive, double click on [My Computer] icon. At the bottom of CD/DVD-ROM icon, there is a drive letter of CD/DVD-ROM drive like a (D:),(E:),(R:) and so on.

  12. The [Insert Disk] window appears asking to insert Windows 95 CD-ROM.   Click [OK].

  13. The [Copying Files...] window appears, click [Cancel].

  14. The [Unknown Device] dialog box appears, then click [Next].

  15. Click [Finish].

  16. At the [Device Manager], select "Unknown Device" and click [Properties].

  17. Click on the [Driver] tab in [Unknown Device Properties].   Then click [Update Driver...].

  18. The [Update Device Driver Wizard] window appears.   Click on the "No, select driver from list" and then click [Next].

  19. Select "Sound, video and game controllers" from the list and click [Next].

  20. Select "Microsoft" from the Manufactures list and "Gameport Joystick" from the Models list.  Then click [Finish].

  21. The [Insert Disk] window appears asking to insert Windows 95 CD-ROM.   Insert Windows 95 CD into the CD-ROM drive and then click [OK].

  22. The [Copying Files...] window appears, type as below in "Copy files from:" text box and then click [OK].

  23. Click [Close] to close all the window.  This completes the driver installation.
