  1. Start the Windows.

  2. Insert the Solo System CD into your either CD/DVD-ROM drive.

    If [System Restoration CD] window pops up on your Windows desktop screen, close the window by clicking [x] mark where is located at the top of the right-hand side corner of the window.

  3. On your screen, locate and click the [Start] button.   From the Start menu, point to [Settings] and click [Control Panel], then click [System].

  4. On the [System Properties], click on the [Device Manager].   Click "PCI Serial Controller" under the "Other Devices".  Then click [Remove].

  5. The [Confirm Device Removal] window appears.  Select "Remove from fll configurations." and then click [OK].

  6. When the [System Properties] window appears again, click on [Close].

  7. On your screen, locate and click on [Start] button.  From the Start menu, click on [Shut Down].

  8. From the [Shut Down Windows], select "Restart" and click on [OK] to restart your computer.

  9. Once Windows is restarted, the [Add New Hardware Wizard] window appears.  Then, click on [Next].

  10. Select "Search for a better driver than the one your device is using now (Recommended)" and place a cheack on "Specify a location".

  11. In the text box under the "Specify a location", type as below.  Then click [Next].

    (D:) represents a letter of CD/DVD-ROM drive and vary in each system.  If you do not know a letter of your CD/DVD-ROM drive, double click on [My Computer] icon.  At the bottom of CD/DVD-ROM icon, there is a drive letter of CD/DVD-ROM drive like a (D:),(E:),(R:) and so on.

  12. The [Add New Hardware Wizard] appears again.  Click [Next].

  13. After copying files, click [Finish].

  14. The [Add New Hardware Wizard] window appears.  Click [Next].

  15. Select "Search for a better driver than the one your device is using now (Recommended)" and place a cheack on "Specify a location".

  16. In the text box under the "Specify a location", type as below.  Then click [Next].
